skyfish sent me an IM yesterday and told me about this game. I watched the trailer and decided to spend $20 in Xmas $$$ on it. It is hard as fuck but it's really fun. Total, true 3D gameplay in space.

You guys should buy it and come kill me. I'm way easier to kill than I ever was in Shazbot - which is beyond pathetic.

Shattered Horizon requires DirectX 10 on Windows Vista or Windows 7. There is no support for Windows XP or DirectX 9.

Fuck that shit.

You're missing out. Its a shame because its a made for PC game that is incredibly awesome at a time when 90% of PC games are just console ports.

I've been trying to tell as many people about it as I can as I really want to support this company so that they will make more of the same. Hopefully if more people buy it they will release more content for it. Its definitely the most fun I've had since T2.

But they must have known that there would be a pretty small percentage of people with vista and windows 7, and on top of that a pretty small percentage of those with hardware good enough to run it (it seems to be more demanding than crysis with everything turned all the way up). So, who knows.

Anyway its awesome and you should play it.

I find most peeps bag on win vista and 7 simply because they don't understand, or don't have the money to afford the upgrades. Unfortunately....that's quitter talk.

Upgrade ya cunts, you're missing out on some pretty cool games.

btw with win7 you can run winxp inside it....and for visita you can tune it to not run all those obnoxious startup programs. I've been using it for a year or so now an its a lot more stable, smoother then winxp pro ever was. Plus I got the added advantage of running the latest games, but yea you guys go ahead and stick with your Pentium 3's, Durons, Celerons, etc.. backed with 256mbs of sdram, 120 gigabyte hard drive (half filled with emo porn),16x cdrom, with the leet ever useful floppy drive. wow....just wow....how long ago did you buy WinXP? last year? Seriously man, if you're choosing to remain with an old operating system that's your free choice, but why complain about the newer operating system and all the perks of having it (i.e new games etc) if you, yourself made the choice to remain with something that's obvisously been phased out. Just doesn't make sense, you should be complaining about the game producers choice to make there games operate only on win vista and 7.

Either way I'll be grabbing Win7, I like to wait for newer operating systems to mature a year...or maybe skip it all together and grab the next version of windows which is rumoured to be in 2012....o0o0o the end is coming! PDT_Armataz_01_11

I'll upgrade when Intel's i9 (Gulftown) 6-core arrives. It will be a glorious build. PDT_Armataz_01_14
